Kuh in Armenien

Cows for northern Armenia

In Shirak in northern Armenia, a structurally weak region, many people are struggling to survive. Nine particularly needy households receive support in the form of a pregnant cow. With targeted training and veterinary care, the families can improve their quality of life not only for their own needs, but also for the sale of dairy products. The first calf to be born is passed on to another family. The households also receive additional feed for the cow for the first winter.
