2. How can I support activities in a country of my choice?

Using our online donation form above, you can make a donation in support of Sign of Hope's projects. There you have the option to specify your desired amount, collection frequency and donation purpose. As purpose you can choose one of our project countries or the focus areas emergencies and disasters or human rights. If you do not want to specify a particular project country or focus area, you can donate in general for the work of Sign of Hope with the donation purpose "Where most needed". In this case, your gift will be used for a project where it is most needed. back

3. Why are free donations more helpful than earmarked donations?

Donations earmarked for "Where most needed" are not tied to a project country or focus area. With these donations, we can help where the need is greatest. For example, we can take immediate action in emergencies or disasters, or support projects that are not (or no longer) the focus of media attention. In this way, free donations allow us to use the funds in the best possible way. back

4. Why is a regular donation more helpful than a one-time donation?

Regular donations make it easier for us to plan and allow us to carry out projects in the long term and sustainably. They guarantee the sustainability of our work. This allows us to permanently improve the lives of oppressed and exploited people. 5. How much of my donation will benefit the projects?

Sign of Hope works to continually keep the percentage of donations that go to our projects high. Currently, the proportion for our statutory purposes is 89.9%, which means that of every euro donated, 90 ct benefits our statutory work. Our efforts also require expenditures in the areas of administration and advertising, which currently stand at 10.1%. Our current Annual Report shows the expenditures. back
