School construction promotes future prospects

For South Sudan, primary education means being able to resolve conflicts peacefully and find a self-determined way out of poverty. Sign of Hope supports the school operations of a sister order by building a modern elementary school for 800 students.

  • Commissioning of an experienced construction company and hiring of local workers
  • Construction of 2 x 8 solid, weatherproof, well-ventilated and spacious classrooms as well as staff rooms, offices and storage
  • Construction supervision and control of the execution of the works
  • Integration of culturally appropriate and gender-sensitive basic education services
